Gingerbread Trim pass-through project.

1. Wall is framed, and sheet-rocked and readied for finishing.

2. Styrofoam inserts form radiused corners that are placed and glued into final position.

3. Styrofoam is covered with joint compound and prepared for painting.

4. Final coat of paint and tomorrow we can assemble our project.

5. The first piece is set, shimmed and the sill plate leveled before adhering in place.

6. Glue and stainless steel screws hold the sill level and in place.

7. Side wall pieces  are checked for placement and fit.

8. Side pieces are glued in place with special foam adhesive.

9. Front profiled straights and rediused pieces are glued and placed.

10. Inside radiused pieces are positioned and glued in place.

11. All  pieces are in place and the pass-through is ready for grouting and sealing if desired.

12. Quoins are added to the wall to tie the elements together. Outside face tiles are added first.

13. Next the quoins are positioned and glued.

14. Opening is grouted  and the quoins are added.

15. Complete assembly took only three hours.
